Downloaded the firmware for my S4 mini (Chile - downloaded the 3 versions of it) and try to flash the three of them but odin always fails. EDIT1: Problem solved, I flashed the 4.4.2 of my carrier/country and it gave me an error on system.ext4 so I googled it and found out that many mac users had that problem because of using VMWare Fusion (same program I use to run windows) so I try different options and worked out for me running windows on Parallels.
The problem I have now is that my cellphone is stuck on the SAMSUNG blue-blinking logo. I do not want to lose my data, that is why I refuse to to the factory reset I could have done that but I had to have the Helium app on my mobile phone and it was unaccesible. My advise: - If you are a MAC user, do not use VMWare Fusion to run ODIN; use Parallels or a Windows PC instead.
This method is used only if you want to unroot or reinstall an official firmware in case you’re using a Custom ROM.

Hi everyone, I'm in a bit of trouble and I am really hoping that someone can help me out.
Yesterday I was flashing some rom or kernel or something and for some reason decided to try to repartition(my stupid mistake), but Odin stayed on Do Not Turn Off Target for a few hours so I thought I had no other choice but too restart the process, so I unplugged it. -Computer, but I am still able to get to the download screen.
To troubleshoot a failed upgrade that has returned a result code of 0x C1900101, analyze the extend code to determine the Windows Setup phase, and see the Resolution procedures section later in this topic.
Some result codes are self-explanatory, whereas others are more generic and require further analysis.
